Panel discussion - VR in Broadcasting
This round table hosted by IABM Lead Research Analyst Lorenzo Zanni and featuring Chris Wagner (EVP Marketplace Strategy, Neulion) and Magnus Persson (CEO, Voysys) aims at discussing the state of adoption of VR technology in broadcasting. Media companies are launching VR offerings although takeup has been slower than anticipated, aside from sports broadcasting where the technology has started making inroads. Some factors that are slowing down takeup are consumer adoption of VR equipment, the VR experience, monetization and the complexities of VR production.
